. Features: composition: copper-nickel clad copper, diameter: 24.3 mm, weight: 5.7 g. Obverse: the portrait in left profile of George Washington, the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797, is accompanied with the motto: „In God we Trust” and surrounded with the lettering: „Liberty”. Reverse: a Colonial patriot drummer facing left, with a victory torch surrounded with thirteen stars at the upper left, accompanied with the motto „E Pluribus Unum” and surrounded with the face value and the lettering „United States of America”. Edge: reeded. Mint – Denver.
