Auction set: a set of 4 coins from Guatemala from 1993-1995.
1.1 Centavo 1995: composition - brass, diameter -19.0 mm, weight: 2.5 g. Obverse: the Emblem of Guatemala depicts two rifles and two swords crossed with a wreath of laurel. In the middle a scroll of parchment with the words „Liberty 15 of September of 1821” and in the upper part the national bird - Quetzal. Script: Latin. Lettering: Republica de Guatemala 1995. Reverse: denomination at top and a bust of Bartolomé de las Casas (c. 1484 – 1566), script: Latin. Lettering: Un Centavo Fray Bartolome de las Casas. Edge: smooth.
2. 5 Centavos 1994: composition - brass, diameter -16.0 mm, weight: 1.6 g. Obverse: the Emblem of Guatemala depicts two rifles and two swords crossed with a wreath of laurel. In the middle a scroll of parchment with the words „Liberty 15 of September of 1821” and in the upper part the national bird - Quetzal. Script: Latin. Lettering: Republica de Guatemala 1995. Reverse: tree with value at right and legend at bottom, script: latin, lettering: 5 Centavos Libre Crezca Fecundo. Edge: reeded.
3. 10 Centavos 1993: non-magnetic, composition - nickel brass , diameter -21.0 mm, weight: 3.2 g. Obverse: Coat of arms, with legend at top, and date at bottom. Reverse: Mayan Pillar ruins of Quiriguá with denomination at right and legend below. Edge: reeded.
4. 25 Centavos 1994 25: composition - nickel brass , diameter -27.0 mm, weight: 8.0 g. Obverse: the country name above the Guatemalan coat of arms (two laurel branches around a quetzal bird perched on a scroll and the phrase "Libertad 15 De Setiembre De 1821" written on the scroll along with two rifles and two swords crossed behind the scroll) and the date below. Reverse: Native bust facing left with the value to the right and bottom-right. Edge: smooth with incused lettering.
