Auction item: a commemorative issue: a a colorful and rare in numismatic circulation set of commemorative russian coins: 300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet issued in 1996 by the Saint Petersburg Mint to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Russian fleet. Mintage: 100 000 sets. Coins are in colorful packaging that will serve as a good gift for numismatist.

The set includes the following coins:

1.  1 Ruble (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 -  composition: brass, weight: 4.05, diameter: 19.45, Edge: smooth.  Reverse: the picture of a fishing-trawler.

2.  5 Rubles (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 - composition: brass, weight: 4.05, diameter: 21.9, Edge: smooth.  Reverse: the picture of the sailing-ship  „Товарищ" („Tovarishch”).

3.   10 Rubles (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 - composition: copper-nickel, weight: 4.05, diameter: 21.0, Edge: segmented reeding.

  Reverse: the picture of a cargo vessel, over it - Hermes (Greek god, the patron of trade), below - a map of the Earth's hemispheres.

4.   20 Rubles (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 - composition: copper-nickel, weight: 4.20, diameter: 24.0, Edge: segmented reeding. Reverse: the picture of a research ship.

5.   50 Rubles (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 - composition: brass, weight: 4.30, diameter: 25.0, Edge: segmented reeding.

  Reverse: the picture of a submarine cruiser and the St. Andrew's flag.

6.   100 Rubles (300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) 1996 - composition: brass, weight: 4.30, diameter: 27.0, Edge: segmented reeding.  Reverse: the picture of a the nuclear-powered icebreaker „Арктикa”  (Arctic).

7.  Mintmark:  Peter I - the founder of the St. Petersburg Mint -1724, SPMD. Reverse: portrait of Peter I, obverse: image of the mint building in Sankt Petersburg.

   I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

   Condition - each page of the album is shown in the photos, please have a look at the photos, the pictures show the original set, with will be shipped. The coins are new, unused (in foil jackets), but the album has small traces of many years of storage.     On the day of shipping the auction set, the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction set, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
