Auction coin:  1794 - 1 Grossus - coin for the Imperial Austrian Army (Austrian Partition of Poland - Galizia and Lodomeria - Polish States - Ruler: Francis II: 1792-1806).  This coin was issued by Austria for Galizia and Lodomeria during the Kosciuszko insurection in 1794 before the division of the Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth between Austria, Prussia and Russia in 1795.
  Features:  face value: 1 Grossus = ½ Kreuzer = 1⁄180 Thaler,  composition: copper,   diameter – 21.5 mm,  weight – 4.2 g.
  Reverse: face value and date in 4 lines above wreath.  Obverse: Crowned double headed imperial eagle and Austrian coat of arms above crossed flags. Legend above for „Moneta Aerea Exercitus Caesarei Regii”.  Edge: floral pattern.
