Auction item – Soviet banknote from 1938 with a face value of 5 rubles.

   Features: Number and series of the banknote: 023074Ув,  Size: 145 × 70 mm,  Catalog number: P#215a (Serial letters BIG, small, two-letter series),   Demonetized: 1947.

   Obverse:  right side: a portrait of airman with aircraft in background within the frame. Upper and lower right corners have small rosettes with white digit "5".  Left side: The USSR coat of arms in upper left corner with large blue rosette and large white digit "5" below. Central part: white coloured denomination in cartouche with white big digit "5" and dark blue background in centre with two red serial numbers in a fields with light blue background above and below.Inscription on top and date with inscriptions at the bottom.   

   Reverse:  blue frame with abstract design included large multicoloured cartouche with denomination in Russian flanked by denomination written in 10 languages Each corner of frame includes smaller multicoloured cartouche with white digit "5". 

  I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

   Auction banknote will be sent no later than on the next business day after payment has been received. Careful packing and sending on time are my priorities.

   I am happy to post items overseas and am willing to combine postage for multiple lots.  If you purchased several items, please wait for a combined invoice before you pay – You pay only for one shipment .

   On the day of shipping the auction item, the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction banknote, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
