  Features: special Uncirculated,  composition: nickel brass (German silver) , diameter-35.0 mm, weight: 16,54 g. Mintage of 45,000 pcs. Mint: Kyiv,Ukraine.

  Obverse: there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, below - the image of the reverse side of the coin in circulation 'Volodymyr the Great'; to the left whereof there is logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint, to the right - the coin issue year and inscriptions.

  Reverse: in the center against the background of Ukrainian banknotes there is the image of Kyiv type silver hryvnia of the 11th-13th centuries, to the right whereof there is a shortened text of the Order of the National Bank of Ukraine # 71 of August 26, 1996 'On Measures to Execute the Decree of the President of Ukraine of August 25, 1996 'On the Currency Reform in Ukraine' and inscriptions. Below there is an image of subsidiary coins of Ukraine and inscriptions. Edge: corrugated.
