Auction item: a 125-year-old envelope with a stamp: Mi DR 57 (Germania with imperial crown, inscription 'REICHSPOST').

  The envelope was sent from Barmen to Sissach on December 7, 1900. 

  Stamp features: Stamp name: Germania with imperial crown, inscription 'REICHSPOST',  catalog codes: Mi:DR 57, date of issue: 1900-01-08,  size: 22 x 26 mm,  colors: lilac ultramarine / violet ultramarine,  face value: 20 Pf. - 20 German reichspfennig.

   Barmen is a former industrial metropolis of the region of Bergisches Land, Germany, which merged with four other towns in 1929 to form the city of Wuppertal.

Barmen, together with the neighbouring town of Elberfeld founded the first electric suspended monorail tramway system, the Schwebebahn floating tram.

  I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

  Condition - original with postmark, please have a look at the photos, the pictures show the original envelope, with will be shipped.    Worldwide shipping (registered letter with tracking number), the shipping costs:  EU: 5,50 € , Worldwide: 6,50 €.

    Another shipping method is also possible - I can send the auction envelope because of the relatively small value by standard  letter (EU : Kompaktbrief: 2,85 €,  Worldwide: International letter: 3,15 € - but the Kompaktbrief and International letter is a unregistered shipment (without tracking number) at the risk of the buyer.  In this case, please write to me that you accept unregistered shipment at your own risk (it is not covered by the Buyer Protection Program policies) - it is a necessary condition for shipping.

   Auction envelope will be sent no later than on the next business day after payment has been received. Careful packing and sending on time are my priorities.

   I am happy to post items overseas and am willing to combine postage for multiple lots.  If you purchased several items, please wait for a combined invoice before you pay – You pay only for one shipment .

   On the day of shipping the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction item, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
