Auction item – Germany, April 10, 1955.  Commemorative first-day postcard with a set of German stamps from 1954-1955 and a special postmark: 1st European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics - April 10, 1955 - FJG - Frankfurt am Main.

  The commemorative card contains the following 4 postage stamps (stamp name, stamp series,  date of issue, face value, catalog codes,  size, colors):

2.  Käthe Kollwitz (1867-1945), Graphic Artist and Painter – Welfare: Helpers of Mankind 1954 - 1955.03.31 - 7+3 Pf.  German pfennig - Mi DE 200 - 28 x 33 mm – siena,

3.  Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777-1855), mathematician, astronomer - 100th anniversary of the death of Carl Friedrich Gauß - 1955.02.23 - 10 Pf.  German pfennig - Mi DE 204 - 28 x 33 mm - blackish opal green,

4.  Stylized Crane (Emblem of the Lufthansa) - Restart of the German Airline Lufthansa  - 1955.03.31 - 5 Pf.  German pfennig - Mi DE 205Vb - 33 x 28 mm - black / pink lilac.

   On the day of shipping the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction item, addressed envelope), a photo of the post office receipt and tracking  number.
